Christmas Gift Ideas for a Stay at Home Mom

Are you looking for Christmas Gift Ideas for a Stay at Home Mom in your life? I curated this list based on things I would like to receive as a homemaker. Remember, not all gifts are things. The best gifts show someone you love them and put your words into action.

1. Time Away

As a stay-at-home mama, I am home pretty much all the time. It can get a little boring (even for an introvert like me) to be home so much. If you are looking for a gift for the mama in your life, try giving her some time away. That could mean babysitting for a couple hours so she can go get a cup of coffee. It could mean going with her on an excursion. A little bit of time to yourself can go a long way.

2. A Massage

My husband and I recently started getting massages every six weeks or so, and oh man was it worth it. I did not realize how much tension was built up in my back from carrying a toddler. Also, our massage therapist is an angel from above. Giving the gift of a massage or nail appointment is a thoughtful gift for any mama.

3. Memberships

When you are home consistently, it can become a challenge to think of new ways to entertain your little one. A great gift idea for any stay-at-home mama is to get them memberships to local zoos or play places. Memberships like that can be expensive, so maybe you gift them a month pass. Trust me, she will be grateful.

4. A Date Night

Date nights are something we just don’t get enough of. It’s hard to find someone to watch the little one and you don’t want to feel like a burden, but spending time alone with your spouse is so important. he gift of a date night will always be welcome!

5. Your Company

To be honest, sometimes it’s just nice for someone to come by and hang out with you while you mom. I love it when people can be at my house with low expectations and just be. Play dates are nice, too. Maybe that’s because my love language is quality time, but having company is usually a great gift all on its own.
