Why You Should Eat at the Crystal Palace in Disney’s Magic Kingdom

One of our favorite dining experiences at Disney World has been eating at the Crystal Palace. It’s a beautiful greenhouse-inspired restaurant on Main Street. The best part is that Winnie the Pooh and his friends come by your table to visit. Read below to learn more about Why You Should Eat at the Crystal Palace in Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

1. You Get to Meet Winnie the Pooh and Friends!

The most obvious reason for eating at the Crystal Palace is to meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore also make an appearance. I wish Rabbit or Owl did as well, but alas. Each of the characters we got a chance to meet was so kind and attentive to our star-struck toddler. I think eating at this restaurant is her favorite part of going to Disney for that reason. She loves Winnie the Pooh!

2. The Restaurant is Stunning.

Another reason for dining at the Crystal Palace is because it is so pretty! It feels like you are eating in a huge greenhouse. They have plants everywhere, which I assume are mostly fake, but I haven’t tried too hard to look. The seating is comfy and we didn’t feel squished next to other tables.

3. The Food is Delicious.

You might be surprised to hear this, but the food is delicious at the Crystal Palace. Usually if there is excellent entertainment in a beautiful restaurant, the food suffers. That is not the case here. We have only had the opportunity to eat lunch at the restaurant, but I’ve heard from several people that lunch is even better! They also have great food options for toddlers and a delectable dessert selection.

4. The Staff is Impeccable.

The final reason Why You Should Eat at the Crystal Palace in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is because the staff is absolutely impeccable. We’ve managed to eat at the restaurant a couple times now and both of those opportunities were only made better by the staff. They are kind, patient with our toddler, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to make your meal special. Shout out to the excellent cast members at the Crystal Palace!
