Subtle and Neutral Home Decor for Valentine’s Day

After Christmas there is this long lull until Easter, so I wanted to find some pieces of decor to put out for the time in-between. However, most of the Valentine decor I was seeing in stores was so bright and loud. Just a whole lot of RED, PINK, SPARKLES. That’s just not my style, so if you are also looking for something simple to decorate your home, please read below to discover Subtle and Neutral Home Decor for Valentine’s Day.

Subtle and Neutral Home Decor for Valentine's Day

1. Rattan Beaded Mantle Garland

I’ve purchases many home decor items from Etsy, but this might be my absolute favorite. I love our new garland! It’s so simple and neutral and could go in multiple places in our home. You can also get this garland with “xoxo” at the center of each heart, which would also be cute. I decided to keep it basic so I might use it for another occasion.

2. Frame TV Art

Changing the artwork on your Frame TV is a subtle way of decorating for Valentine’s Day this year. I found this digital download of roses on Etsy and just love how it adds a romantic touch to our home. My husband does not feel the same and thinks it’ a little too girly, but he is ignoring my choice until after Valentine’s Day. There are many options for Frame TV artwork on Etsy that you should definitely check out!

3. Natural Heart and Bead Garland

Red Rocque Home Decor on Etsy made this beautiful garland. They have a lot of options for neutral home decor, so I highly recommend checking them out. I think this particular garland might be sold out, but be sure to ask the shop if you are looking for something similar. It’s an excellent touch.

4. Simple Wood Heart

I found this simple wood heart at TJ Maxx last week and thought it was the perfect touch for our kitchen. TJ Maxx is a great place to search for neutral home decor. It might take some searching or a few trips there, but it’s always my go-to store when searching for Subtle and Neutral Home Decor.

5. Valentine Tea Towel

The next item on my list of Subtle and Neutral Home Decor for Valentine’s Day is a tea towel. Draping a tea towel in your kitchen is a simple way to add some holiday decor to your home. The towels I got this year were not great quality, but towels like this one on Etsy would be much more durable and attractive.

6. Driftwood Heart Wreath

We found our driftwood heart wreath at TJ Maxx (of course), but if you are looking for a similar piece of art to hang in your home I found a similar one on Amazon. What I love about this wreath is that it’s not loud or shedding little pieces of foliage. It blends in perfectly with our home.
