Motherhood,  Welcome

5 Mamas I Love to Follow on Youtube and Why

When I found out I was expecting my first baby at the beginning of a pandemic, I felt very alone. My doctor recommended quarantining at home as much as I was able, which meant I couldn’t spend time with other mamas prior to giving birth or since. Being a first time mama, I needed all the wisdom I could get from more experienced moms. Below are 5 Mamas I Love to Follow on Youtube and Why. I highly recommend checking them out as you start to develop your “mom tribe,” whatever that means for you.

1. Delilah Loeppky – @loeppkyslife

Delilah was the first mama I found and followed online when I was pregnant. She and her husband live in Canada with their now three kids. I love following her, because she is so open and honest about the journey of motherhood. She is also unafraid to talk about her faith, which is so inspiring to me. Her videos on daily life as a stay at home mom were so helpful in my first few months as a mom, and continue to help me even now. If you choose to follow any of the mamas on this list, choose Delilah. I cannot say enough good things about her and her channel.

2. Sarah Therese – @sarahtheresev

Sarah Therese is a more recent follow for me. She lives with her husband and four kiddos in Canada as well. What I love about Sarah is that she challenges me to think differently. I never would have tried cashew cream if I hadn’t followed her. (By the way, it’s delicious.) Sarah posts videos about motherhood, but also more serious content about sustainability and the fast fashion industry. She is bold while staying positive and helps me remember to appreciate all the little things about being a mom. Even the repetitive and annoying things. If you are looking for someone uplifting and wise to follow, I high recommend Sarah Therese.

Speaking of people who are uplifting, Cara Jane is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever seen. Her vlogs are so wholesome and practical in the best way. She is married and expecting her second baby, so if you are a mama looking to follow another expecting mama, Cara is your girl! I look forward to every video that Cara releases, because I know it will not only be quality, but will bring a little light to my life. She also has some excellent travel vlogs that make me want to go places and do things. As an aggressive introvert, that’s saying something. I normally do not care to leave the house.

Natalie is another kind soul on the internet. She is a minimalist mama, who posts lots of decluttering and cleaning videos that inspire me to be more intentional about the items in my own home. However, the most inspiring video she has posted recently is an interview with her mother. I was so moved by their relationship, their vulnerability and the way they pointed everything back to Jesus. Just go and watch her channel. You won’t regret it!

The final mom on my list of 5 Mamas I Love to Follow on Youtube and Why is Tiffani Beaston. Tiffani posts a lot of extreme cleaning and organization hacks. She also has four kids, which is so crazy to me. I feel busy with my one baby! What I love most about Tiffani’s channel is her deep love for her kids. You can just see how much family means to them and she loves her family so well in a million tiny ways. It’s a good reminder to me that one of the most important things I can do for my own family is to be consistent. She also posts excellent recipes.
